Do you know what I like about having older kids? Me & B get to do more stuff alone. 

(Yes, we are THOSE parents who leave our kids at the house alone. They do just fine.)

Anyhow, we can go out for breakfast, run errands, go for walks, go get dessert. It's quite different than even a year ago.

It almost feels like we're dating again, with the amount of time we are spending with each other. In fact, it IS kind of like dating again. We do things together we don't always do. We talk more about things we like, don't like; we're more honest.

I feel like a little kid anytime we get out of the house alone; especially when we go to Albertson's for "milk" (you know, when you end up buying two different kinds of ice cream because you can't decide which flavor you like more). It's fun; it's exciting; it's just me and B: #mermsontheloose.
