DAY 12: Left In The Dust

HAHAHA! Poor Sam...I thought she was waving at me at one point...she was waving the dust out of her face!

Usually, the holidays have me feeling like I'm left in the dust. Life speeds up and I have nowhere to go.

But this year is different.

1. I'm 90% done with my Christmas shopping.
2. I'm practicing rebooting (see previous post).
3. NO CHRISTMAS CONCERT THIS YEAR.

Wait, what?

YES.

And it's one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Put normal life stuff in the mix. Now, add in homeschooling three kids this year and leading a small group. Don't forget about all the stress I've had recently.

I would have been a sitting duck for an emotional breakdown.

It was a tough decision, but I know that it was the right one to make.

AND...it gives me time to plan a spectacular performance for 2017. #yahbaby
