Never Ever, Ever Grow Up! NO!

Peter Pan has been a longtime favorite of mine and I was so excited that it was showing at Tuacahn this summer. B & I decided to take the girls last minute. I'm so glad we did.

Getting ready to head out, grab some churros and get our Pan on!

At this point, the girls were more excited about getting churros.

Churros, happiness and waiting for Daddy to get there.

Here we go!

The girls loved it, I loved it...it was magical and it was even better watching the girls. Their eyes were wide with wonder, wishing they could fly like Peter and sail on a pirate ship.

They were OVER THE MOON meeting Peter. Piper got his autograph and her smile stretched a mile wide.

They also got to meet one of the Lost Boys, Curly- he complimented each of the girls on something they were wearing and you could hear the giggles across the lobby.

The magic of Neverland has always been a part of my secret heart; the intrigue of never growing up, the belief in fairies, etc. Part of it always makes me sad that childhood is so fleeting; fleeting for myself, fleeting for my children.

And part of me will always love Peter for his boyish charm, the cleverness of himself. I will cheer for him when he crows, romp with Tiger Lily and fight Hook. While I grow older, I will always be a Wendy inside. I will always be waiting for him to swoop in and fly me away to Neverland...just follow the golden arrows, second star on the right, straight on 'til morning.
