30-21: Sister, Sister, Doggy Kisser

I LOOOOOVE summer storms. They are fast, furious and just beautiful. Any time the girls see rain drops, they are out the door. They love playing in the rain and I love that they love playing in the rain.

I remember getting my Barbie boat out and letting it run down the gutters. My friend, Brooke, and I would collect the worms that had made their way onto the sidewalks and return them to the flowerbeds. Courtney and I would ride our bikes, run around, do cartwheels, etc, etc.

Today, we had one heck of a storm come through. Sam & Scarlet were out front and minutes later, here they were:

Look at those faces!!! That is called joy, my friends. Pure joy. What fun kids have!

Speaking of kids.....we were watching the Olympics tonight and I look over to see this super cute, deliciously furry sweetness on the chair:

Oh Tootles! She's so adorable. The girls just love her. They're always kissing her, snuggling with her and carrying her around. Isn't she just the cutest??

Anyhow, today was fun. Great storm, laundry 100% done, some meal prep completed, watched the Olympics together as a family (and oh, did we get into it....cheering, yelling...it was great)...perfect day, folks, perfect day.
