All of the girls had so much fun spending the night. Half of them were already in their swimsuits when I woke up this morning. It was an interesting evening, with a HUGE storm that rolled through, plus our smoke detectors going crazy for about 3 hours....while we were trying to sleep. But overall, crazy fun is the kind of fun we like.
2. Oh, the lovliness of spending time with my fam.
It was B's idea to take the girls to see The BFG. It was SO good. It's been a long time since I read the book, but I was instantly transformed into a child again as I listened to the BFG talk. It was a beautifully done and the ending was just lovely...he can hear the whispered secrets.
3. Oh, the joy of eating together and laughing in our favorite restaurant.
Hey, Saturday night, kids eat free and we have eaten there for most birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations. It's our go-to and our want-to almost every time.
So, really, it was a delicious day. I enjoyed every bit of it, except for Ginny's super-noxious farts tonight. Nas.Ty.
