Little by little, we have been remodeling our house. It's an older home, which required a lot of work. As of this evening, we have completed yet another project!
Behold....the barn wood fireplace:
And here's what it looks like naked....
We needed more room in the living room (not to mention the "fireplace" that was there was letting in more cold air than heat), so....out it went:
A little texture....
Add paint & a hearth....
Then a brand new fireplace....
Et voila! Not only will we be warmer now, we have more room to accommodate any company that might want to visit us (aka YOU).
