Thirty Days- Day Twelve- Looking Back

 

Do you ever look back and wonder how you got here?

It all started with a man making a decision; a decision to have a better life than the one he was heading toward. 

It all started with a girl needing to break out from a cycle.

And because of those two decisions, hearts were entwined and ten years later, I see a future I never would have dreamed of having.

I see a happy family with three happy girls, growing up in a Christ-centered home. I see myself growing old with the man I love. I see love. I see joy. I see happiness.

Looking back at that one particular night where it all came together, nope, it never even crossed my mind.

So thank you to all the crappy relationships that took me to California and thank you to whatever made B decide that he needed a "good girl". Cause without those instances, I would not be who and where I am today.
