Yep. I like Rubio's. A lot. And so does Bryce, which is why he was more than upset that I ate there without him while Sue and I were out shopping. Heeee, heeeee, heeee (so evil).
But wait- I'm getting ahead of myself. It has been COLD. Rainy, lovely cold rain and cloudy skies, which meant no beach yesterday or today. It did mean SHOPPING (and Rubio's). (Yay!)
The Disney Store!!!!!!!!
Mmmmmm........(drool)......mmmmmmmmm
Ahem....yah, anyways...so we had a great time at the mall; the girls rode the carousel, we bought some jewelry and crowns and rode out the rain. We decided that we were going to go to Julian the next day, which turned out to be a lovely day.
Pie at Mom's!
And this was all that was left...nothing like Julian's apple pies!
Scarlet approves.
It was very chilly, but my honey & my latte warmed me up.
Um, Scarlet.......this IS our family to a T.
Off the path of the last view point, there was a whole bunch of these mounted into the rock.
It was really interesting!
It was really interesting!
Sweet Sammie.
After we got home, the girls relaxed with a nice dinner by the pool and Bryce posed for many self portraits as the sun started to set.
Bryce and I went out and got....dum dum dum DUM....more Rubio's. We played a few bucks at the slot machines in Viejas (and probably got lung cancer while in there), got some HORRIBLE coffee at the Rocky Mountain Candy Factory (although the pumpkin pie fudge has been diviiiiine...oops, my fingers are getting sticky) and then got some GOOD coffee at Starbucks.
Fish tacos...nom nomnomnomnom.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Happy Cassandra.
And another happy Cassandra.
AND three very happy little girlies.
Ah....very nice. So tomorrow, we are heading to the beach and perhaps Sea World. The weather is warming up and we are bound and determined to enjoy our last couple of days in SoCal until we head up to DISNEYLAND!
Peace.
