Piper, my sweet, sweet Piper drew this for me today:
I said, "Oh my...what is this about?"
Piper replied, "That's you, Mama, with me in your belly."
I was dying inside for three reasons.
Reason #1: Too cute. Way too cute. I love the whole thing! The clouds, my brown face, the little person in my belly...
Reason #2: Why do I have purple hair? Yes, I have purple hair now...but um....I didn't then. Is she trying to tell me something?!?!
Reason #3: I love Piper's point of view. She is a really good artist (of course) and her drawings continue to amaze me. Let's just hope she doesn't draw herself being born. I don't want to know just yet what she thinks about that!
