Sam-A-Lamma

Sweet Sammie turned 4 today and I still can't believe it. I still remember bringing her home from the hospital and Piper thinking that we brought her a new baby doll...until Sam started crying. It freaked Piper out! I remember thinking about whether we were having a girl or not and my water breaking in the Dairy Queen drive-thru.

I felt calm about having a second baby. How much harder could it be? A lot harder! What the heck!

She has been such a HUGE blessing to us. While she has a hidden temper, she is the first to have a sweet smile on her face, with her two little dimples; the first to share, to give hugs, to forgive- always forgiving no matter what the crime. She is easily excited and easily hurt. We call her 'Sensitive Sammie' for that exact reason.

She is always learning and always curious. I am excited for this next year as she begins to come more and more into her own.
