Oh The Years...

Did I mention that B and I have been married for 8 years? (Ah yah, all the way back in March.)

Not really a magical feat, but in this era, it's getting close to the cut off line.

But that is not the case with us. Are we the same couple that we were 8 years ago? Of course not. We're fatter, healthier, happier, etc etc etc.

We actually celebrated our anniversary this year by going hiking up in Zion. I wanted to TRY Angel's Landing- for those who have never had the chance to visit Zion yet, Angel's Landing is a hike that is, well, very high. And me, being very short, me no likey the heights. But I thought I'd give it a go anyways.

Maybe one-third of the way. Yep. It got a little too freaky for me. So we ate at Oscar's up in Springdale (overpriced for the food...it was okay) and took a mini road trip. All while my poor one-handed mom was taking care of my three rambunctious girlies (the sausage nubs is what we called the two fingers that stuck out of my mom's cast- Scarlet was fascinated with them and kept pulling them, much to my mom's chagrin).

Later, we went to eat at Benja's where we fell in love with Thai Coffee. I think we'll be doing that again very soon. We also saw "John Carter" in 3D, which was epic.

An epic ending to an epic day.

 

A friend of mine is celebrating her 7th anniversary today and it reminded me that, oh yah, we had an anniversary earlier this year too....and I totally forgot to say anything about it. But hey, that's what being crazy does to you.
