Day FIVE- Sweet Samantha is 3

Three years ago, we had JUST bought ice cream through the Dairy Queen drive-thru when my water broke. I thought I was peeing my pants, but a quick...test...proved me wrong. Mom and Grandma were on their way, but not close and it was, hmm, about 7:30 PM. 


So we called our new, dear friend, Melissa, to come hang out with Piper until they got there. WE headed off to L&D in a hurry. We forgot playing cards, books, knitting...thankfully, we remembered the camera!


10:52 PM and sweet Samantha Ann was born; 7 lbs. 14 oz. and 21 inches long. She was so "tiny" compared to Piper as a baby. But she was sweet from the beginning and has constantly been a joy to have around (except when she's whiny...and pouting...and being mean to Scarlet...you know, those kind of things).
