I love St. Patrick's Day! I have so many good memories with my mom & sisters; we had tradition. We'd visit the Mesa Cemetery to see our friend Rick and then we'd go to Bennigan's for appetizers and virgin green daiquiris. I had this HUGE green hat that I would wear for YEARS...it finally got thrown away.
Anyhow, I don't really have any traditions with the girls. Me & my BFFFFF thought it would be fun to have lunch at McD's (shamrock shakes, yo) and then go to the park.
The weather was beautiful, the kids had fun (we took Ginny & Tootles) and we had a large group of FLDS having a picnic near us. Although I haven't hung out with them in such close proximity, the kids all loved our doggies; they were kind, asked if they could pet them and even the adults were very kind, telling us thank you for letting the kids pet the dogs.
It really was a beautiful day, the girls enjoyed themselves and I realized my hair is getting LONG!!! Woot!
