Wild & Crazy

Oh yah....we got it goin' on. 

I love this picture so much. We look, I don't know, wild & crazy, but not WILD & CRAZY.

I was never too w&c when I was growing up. I loved reading, heck I asked for a typewriter for Christmas one year! I had the big glasses, the braces, dressed about two years behind style or not in style at all, wanting to be original, but too scared to do it.

I went w&c from about 18-20 years old, but it still wasn't too bad. Oh, I did some things that I wish I hadn't, but who doesn't have memories like that? But from that phase I grew into who I am now!

The thing is, we can hang on to things that we've done and regret them...or we can accept them for what they were and know that we can use them as a platform to grow from. "Don't make that mistake again" or "What doesn't kill me makes me stronger", etc, etc. 

I keep making mistakes, but I feel like I'm getting better at handling the aftermath. Plus, I feel like my mistakes aren't as legendary as they were, or could have been, when I was younger.

So take heart and know that you can use your past to build your future. Don't let it drag you down! You can change who you are; just have faith in yourself. To quote my Daddits, get down with your bad self!
