I Knit You Knot

I like to knit. And I'm getting better all the time!

It's something I enjoy to do, it keeps my hands busy and sure, I may look like a grandma, dragging my knitting bag around with me everywhere I go, but hey....look what I do!

My favorite part is being able to give the things away that I make (okay...let's be honest...I really can only make blankets & scarves). Knowing that I'm in the process of making something that I can give to someone that I care about makes it all the more fun to see the end product.

Does that sound like bragging? I don't mean it to be. Heck, the sermon this Sunday was about humility, which is something I definitely lack (I can't help it if I'm awesome). But honestly, it does make me happy.

Over the years I have learned how much sweeter it is to give than to receive. I like the thought put behind it and the spontaneity of it. 

I wonder if this is a common trait of growing up...

Anyhow, I need to finish this up and get back to work. Knitting awaits.
