Dude, check out this sweet mug I got from one of the sweetest ladies at church today:
Oh snap! It's time for a sweet MUG of coffee! She saw this mug and immediately thought of me.
The generosity of some people is astounding! I didn't get a chance to use it yet because my coffee was on the go today while I was oot and aboot with my BFFFFs for a bridal shower. But I can't wait! What will make the coffee sweeter is knowing that it was given to me out of love and kindness. Now every time I drink out of it, I will remember that kindness goes a long way, especially in a world where it seems like kindness is becoming a thing of the past.
It seems these days that kindness is becoming extinct. We do things for others because we expect something in return. Whatever happened to helping someone out just because we wanted to? Now, I understand that we can only do certain things within our limits; we can't pay other people's bills, adopt all the children in the world, etc. But what about helping a friend move? Inviting the young couple over for dinner? Everyone is glued to their devices, no social development, therefore kindness is considered a "like" on Facebook.
Anyways......I love the mug and I'm going to use it to remind myself to be kind to others, to the best of my ability.
So, today was just one of those lay around days, so the B, the girls & I played Roll For It! It was fun, although Scarly tapped out early.

We Skyped with Grammie (sorry Mom.....), showed her how Sam uses crutches, Scarly did some somersaults and Piper did some impressive cartwheels. Mom & I laughed over some misheard information, talked about Stephen King and catastrophes that we've lived through.
Overall, AWESOME day and tomorrow, we celebrate the birth of my favorite person in the world....my Mer Mer!
