I was watching Piper doing her schoolwork today; she looked up at me and smiled. There's a hole where a tooth previously lived as of 10:30 this morning. She gets back to work and my heart skips a beat.
I'm excited, proud and sad all at the same time.
But since I'm more excited than sad for right now, you guessed it, it's time for the much anticipated pictures of

My heart bursts every time she does something "grown up". Where has my little girl gone? I still see her from time to time. But she wasn't there today. Today, there was a big girl, independently working on her vocabulary test and drawing pictures of moose with udders (oh yah, that's coming up soon).
I love you, Piper D...my original "Papoose", my little artiste, my Eeyore-lover, my little-girl-growing-up.
