Okay, yah, so there are days when I feel like buying a one-way ticket to Nepal and knitting loincloths for a living because my kids DRIVE. ME. CRAZY.
Remember my sweet angels? My three darling daughters who will, at some point, all be terrifying teenagers together?

We took the two older one's to Tuacahn's ALADDIN last night. Just to clarify: Tuacahn is awesome. It's a built in amphitheater in the desert and has wonderful, amazing shows there year-round. The best part is the 2 rotating shows that come during the summer. MUSICALS.
Anyways, this year was Aladdin and Hairspray. And no...I didn't get to see Hairspray this year, although I heard it was phenomenal.
Piper saw The Little Mermaid last year and did pretty good. We took Sam with us this year, praying that the whineys wouldn't come (which they didn't).

Look how cute they are...even Brycie!
Here's the best part....watching their faces during the show and hearing what they had to say. Let's recap some of the more darling phrases that they uttered:

Samantha (very loudly): Where's Rajah?
Piper (whispering during a 3D Cave of Wonders scene): Come on, Aladdin, you can do it! Come on! Get that lamp, you can do it!
Samantha (before, after, during, today): I don like Rafar....he dary (I don't like Jafar...he's scary).

Piper (when the Magic Carpet was out): That thing isn't going to fly. What the? Whoa. But it's not going to fly very high. (I'm now shushing her.) But Mom, it's not.....ooooooohhhhhhhhh (as it takes off over the audience).
Samantha and Piper on the way home:
Sam- I don like da genie.
Piper- I liked the genie. He was funny. The fettagenie had blue gloves on and they were soft.
Sam- I guess I like da fedda-genie.
Piper- Oh yah! The fettagenie was funny!
Sam- I dave Aladdin a high fi.
Piper- I did too....the fettagenie wanted knuckles, but (hee hee) I hugged Jasmine instead.

Overall, a great ending to a not-so-great day. B and I felt that the Genie carried the performance; he was awesome, but getting to see the girls enjoy some magic (the poofing, the fireworks, the carpet, the Cave of Wonders....the camels), that was the best part of all.
(Notice how I am holding Samantha...at first, she wanted to see Aladdin and Jasmine, but not the Genie...then it progressed to just Aladdin...then she didn't want to see Aladdin and that Genie better not stand by her...then she was crying because she was scared of the Genie and Aladdin...then she wanted me to be in the picture too...and then gave Aladdin a high five and didn't even notice the Genie was next to her....sigh.)
