Life is...

GRAND: the concert was so much fun; amazing support from our church and it wasn't as hot as I thought it was going to be...just kidding. It was super hot.

BUSY: Piper and Samantha are now involved in tumbling classes, so I actually have to take them somewhere 2 times a week (they are in separate classes...thank goodness). They both love it and are doing a good job. But it's weird shuttling them around. Basically, four days out of five, they are doing something in which I need to be present. Now I know why my mom called herself the chauffeur.

FRUSTRATING: We're "potty-training" Samantha at night...and she's doing well. It's just frustrating when she has an accident. I try not to let my feelings show. She goes for 4-5 nights without an accident, then it's a little here or a lot there. I am trying to be patient. I guess it's just weird having to adjust from Piper, who was amazing, to Samantha, who is taking her time. I'm not angry...as much as I love doing laundry, the pee smell is gross.

LOVELY: I feel like Bryce and I are in a different place in our marriage and I'm liking it. Whoever said that you will be more in love with your spouse down the road than you did when you married them was spot on. I couldn't imagine my life without him.

And for those of you who are going to ask...YES, I will post stuff from the concert as soon as I get some video. I'm hoping it will have better audio than mine did.

Fabulous words! I can so relate to most of it. We are potty training Drew at night, and it's been super rough. I know what you mean about being a chauffeur. It seems like the older they get, the more of a taxi driver I become. And, I was just telling friends yesterday how I can't believe how amazing marriage has been! I am totally more in love with Brian now, than I was 11 years ago when we got married. It's been the best ride of my life! It's a joy to see your precious life and family in Utah. :) Thanks for sharing.

So since I am procrastinating -

I wish I would have gone to the concert! I love our P&W and would have loved it even more in that setting! You Rock!

I kinda feel guilty 'cause I am just working and David gets to take the kids everywhere.... But then I kinda like it too.... Maybe I am guilty because I like it?? :)

Our first was crazy hard to train - and he was almost 4 at that time too. The twins were okay - frustrating doing them both at once but it was so nice to go from 3 in diapers to just 1! Then Mayah was a piece of cake! She woke up one morning and told me she would pee in the potty and we haven't put a diaper/pull-up on her since then - day or night.

I like that place in marriage! Last month was 11 years for us and we are in such a different BETTER place!

I love reading your blog! You make me want to dye my hair various colors of the rainbow :) (Oh maybe I just found a new way to procrastinate....)
