Anyways, it's supposed to be a shoutofrelief (in a Southern accent) when the A/C kicks in on a hot, humid day...not that we've had any humid days so far, but they've been getting hotter in my neck of the woods. Speaking of which, how are y'all doing? (This accent is courtesy of a speaker that we had at our women's retreat who is from Joe-ja....Georgia....okay, seriously, use your imagination....although I've been told that I sound like Foghorn Leghorn when I try to imitate it.)
Things have been...well...real around here. We've been sick, healthy, busy, relaxing....not much of anything. I had a much needed break up in Brian Head for our women's retreat where I was fed spiritually and underfed physically...no offense to the cooks up there....they were fantastic. I would have liked seconds and thirds though. Maybe I eat more down here? Hmmmm....
It's that time of month again (no, not that one) where I change my hair color. Last month, I went back to trusty green. I like it, it's easy to maintain and easy to spot. But this time, I did something crazy. I must be crazy because I said I would never, EVER, do multi-color in my little patch o'fun. However, my trusty sidekick suggested that I try it. My first attempt.......not so good. Second attempt.....well, it was so awesome that it called for a mini photo-shoot in my messy bathroom.
