Veggietubbles

I have never been a big fan of vegetables.
Just ask my mom.

I'd sit at the table forever, refusing to eat the 2 ice cold green beans that had been sitting on my plate for the last two hours. I'd gag if I smelled them.

Now, I'm finding that there are more and more of them that I will eat, if cooked a specific way. Am I finally "growing up"?

Oh wait.

Except for peas. Those will NEVER smell right to me.
And Mom? I know you think it's funny to hide corn under my mashed potatoes, but I know they're there!

I will never forget when I was about 6 my aunt and cousin lived with us for a time. My mom had made peas with dinner and my cousin refused to eat them. She made him eat them or he couldn't leave the table. So, what did he do? He threw them up right after eating a couple of bites. ;) I don't think she ever forced any of us to eat anything again.
