Looking at these sweet pictures of Scarlet & Piper, you'd never think that they are the ones that cause the most trouble around here. Don't get me wrong! Samantha can be just as bad. But to be honest (and I know I'll regret saying this later when Sam is rubbing it in my face), Sam just doesn't cause as much trouble as her two sisters.
I don't know much about middle siblings & younger siblings. I'm the oldest of four, so I'm bossy, selfish, impatient, etc, etc. Piper is the exact same way. She drags Scarlet around, tells Sam what to do, expects them to share with her, but not the other way around, she wants things now...
Bryce is the youngest of three, so he's spoiled, picked at his older brothers, picks at me, uhhhh...he's not loud, kind of obnoxious...anyways (getting myself into trouble here). Scarlet is loud, always wants her way, picks at her older sisters, spoiled rotten, loud, obnoxious, strong-willed, loud...
They are constantly causing problems and it drives me nuts. But moments like these, where they just want to snuggle, make me wonder if it's all about attention. Me and my three sisters have some crazy age differences. Courtney and I are only 1 year & 10 days apart, while Nichole and Chelsea are 9 1/2 and 10 1/2 years younger than me. I never had to really compete.
My girls? Always competing. How do I deal with it? Oh by pulling out my hair, yelling, keeping them separated, crouching in a corner while rocking back and forth, thinking of ways that I can escape the house...just kidding. There are really bad days and then there are normal days. They're all going through different phases right now. Piper is getting bigger. She's 5, so not a toddler anymore, but not quite a big kid. Scarlet is teething and coming into her Terrible Two's. (Lord help me!)
I love my girls. They're unique and special in their own way. But I'll take Piper and Sam or Sam and Scarlet over Piper and Scarlet any day. They just don't work well together. I'm hoping that will change.
Wow....I just read everything I wrote and I apologize for the rambling! I thought I was bad at public speaking, but apparently all of my AP English classes didn't do any good because I can't seem to complete my thoughts right now. Oh well.

I love your "candidness" (if that's a word). These are things no one ever tells you before you have kids, lol. It's nice to see that you are human just like me. I know a few super moms and I will always wonder how they do it ;)
