I know I horribly teased everyone earlier in the week and failed to post like I said I would.
First of all, let me tell you what it's not:
NO. I am NOT pregnant nor will I EVER be again. No. Never. NOT.
For those who don't know, we ARE looking at purchasing some land, but it hasn't happened yet. I know, I'm bummed too.
We are not moving. Sorry.
Bryce is still straight. Men, I know you're disappointed.
Okay, so big changes occurred in the Daugherty household on Monday: bittersweet and exciting.

Now you see it...

Now you don't.

Now you see it...

Now you don't.

Now you see it...

Now you don't.
And where is Scarly Jo?
Here she is! (And yes, it has been a little overwhelming having them all in the same room...especially the night we found Piper in the crib with her!)

Okay, this is definitely seen no matter where it is. (This is upstairs in the office/guest room/play room/library.)
No more nursery. No more cramped quarters in the bedroom. No more Big Girls Only room. No more baby stuff on the walls. No more yelling at the kids to be quiet 'cause he's on the phone and upstairs where there is no sound dampener. No more quiet time on the beds 'cause now a little girl is sleeping in there.
Again, bittersweet, but exciting. I thought I would cry and I think I almost did. But when the entertainment center went up in our room...oh, did I not show you that yet?

Yep. Doesn't totally match, but you know what? This is our philosophy now:
We will be moving. Within 3 years, this will not be our home. We will not paint anymore, we do not care if furniture gets shoved into one room because there is no room in the other. As long as my kitchen and living room remain the same, I am not worried about how the rest of my house looks. When we buy our land and build our house, there will be room for everything and with the help of my super-creative and super-awesome friends who rock with decorating, my house will be the bomb diggity (I had to steal that from one of my guitar players...who even says that anymore?).
So, sorry if this wasn't what you were expecting, but I did say HOUSE HOLD, not me personally.
Ah, Battlestar Galactica never looked so good in my bedroom as it does now (I'll take 2 Captain Apollo's please).
And a shout-out to our dear friends, the Wiebes, who welcomed baby Nathaniel Henry (all 9 lbs. 12 oz. of him) this morning!
