Days FOURTEEN thru NINETEEN- Keepin' On With the Keepin' On

Yah, that title makes no sense to me too, but it sounded good.


WHOOOOOOOOOOSH. That was me exhaling with weariness and only one cup of chai today. This has been a long week for me. I just got back from AZ last night about 5:30, was home for an hour before worship practice. Today...this just doesn't count. I'm tired, have a scratchy throat and found out that Teekie laid a 7th egg while I was gone. SEVEN??? I thought they laid 4-6. Not only that, but the poor girly plucked her belly and one leg. She looks like a half-naked green chicken. 


So AZ was nice. The weather was nice, the zoo was fun, it was great hanging out with my sisters. Shoot, I even got to see Chelsea and THAT was not planned at all! I'm glad she came over, even if it was just for 40 minutes.


I'm sure all of you who travel know how I feel- you love traveling and love where you're going. But the drive home isn't as bittersweet as you imagine it will be because you're going HOME. The only place I never want to leave is Disneyland, although with three crabby kids, even Mickey can't lighten the day.


I was in my own bed last night with Scarlet in HER own room. Everything and everyone was back on schedule. It was nice. I do wish my family lived closer though. I love hanging out with my family.
