Day TWENTY-ONE: Date Night

Last night, Bryce and I went on our first date of the year: dinner and a movie

We ate out at the Gunbarrel Restaurant. I really liked it a lot; it had really good food. It's right down the road from us, but I've never eaten there. Maybe I should suggest NOT eating at Denny's more often.

We went and saw "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo"; I really, really liked it. Yes, it had some graphic scenes, but I liked the action and I liked the plot. Rooney Mara played Lisbeth and man was she good. She was apathetic yet you couldn't help sympathizing with her. As always, Daniel Craig looked good, although I didn't like his character (Mikael) so much. He seemed to get himself into dumb situations. I haven't read the book yet, but I own it. I have another book to read before that one, so it'll probably be out on DVD before I can compare the two.

Oh, then we went to Albertson's for milk, dryer sheets and cough syrup. Somehow we always end up at the grocery store on our date nights. Weird.

So here's to a year of new eats, interesting movies and trips to the grocery store with my burb.
