Day NINE- Books, Books, Books

Yesterday, I saw this video and it made me excited to actually go through my books (which is one of my 30 things to do this month).

I used to LOVE to go through my books, organize and re-organize them; maybe by size, color, author, subject. I would stack them and re-stack them to my heart's content. Of course, that was before I had kids and even before I got married. I haven't really had the time to go through them.

This month, I wanted to make it a priority. I had stacks upon stacks of books on our desk upstairs that needed to be added into my library (which, in all honesty, there wasn't room for...that is why I'm also looking for a cheap bookshelf for the moment). I had the idea of removing all of my choir music, song books and yearbooks (and B's manuals) for right now. That gave me tons of room for the extra books. Hey, I even left room for my new Christopher Paolini book, 2 of B's Wizard Rule books and the romance book I lent out.


Anyways, here's a picture of it in all its loveliness:

 

I love books. I love to read. I treasure my books and would be so sad without them. And I hope that my girls love to read as much as I do.
