Busy as a Bee

Same excuse as always, right?

Not in this case. I simply have not had the time to sit down at my computer for more than 10 minutes at a time in the last month. Facebook? Well, that takes like a second, so don't bother with that one.

Between Zumba, leading a Bible study, co-leading a teen group, worship practice, worship leader duties, baby showers, trips to Cali, trips to Salt Lake, spending time with the hubs and the kids...yep, not that much free time. Knitting, scrapbooking, tootling on the net...all gone.

But, I am taking time now to let you in on a secret: it will remain this crazy until after Christmas. That's right. Things will not only be picking up speed, they will be traveling at the speed of sound. I have the enormous duty of putting together a phenomenal Christmas concert here at SMCC: The Springs. That means multiple practices, last-minute changes, mental breakdowns. You name it, it will probably happen.

I really hope to have time after the girls go to bed to keep all my peeps in the know (meaning probably just the one person who checks in once a month). I would LOVE to tell you how Scarlet is standing on her own more often and even took a solid step tonight. I would LOVE to tell you how Piper is embracing a larger vocabulary by adding words such as "simply", "clearly", "obviously", "Yes, Mother" and tee-hee-hee-ing like an old lady over her tea. I would LOVE to tell you how Samantha is growing sweeter and sweeter and gives the best hugs in the world. And I desperately want to show off my purple hair.

Vain? Maybe.
