But she was super excited and all dressed up, ready to see Ariel.
Oh, Piper did fantastic! She loved the singing, although she was very upset when Ariel would sing after Ursula had taken away her voice (Ariel was supposed to be thinking out loud). She would say, loudly, "What? Ursula took her voice away. She's not supposed to talk!"
The best part was when she asked me if she could call Ariel. I thought she must mean yelling Ariel's name...she let out the loudest "whistle" you've ever heard. The "hey-you-look-up-here" whistle.
Except it wasn't a whistle.
She screeches in a high decibel and it sounds like a whistle. I may have to have her do it on video so I can prove how crazy it is.
Anyhow, it was a great production. Afterward, the cast came up to the top and you could meet them. We immediately began our trek over to Ariel and waited in line. Piper was insistent from the beginning that she wanted to meet Ariel. And meet her she did! She was so excited she about knocked over Ariel. Then, she began crying. I think the fact that it was almost midnight, plus the excitement put her over her limit. It was the sweetest thing in the world.
