I have a reason to brag.
My upstairs office/library/guest room is officially (kind of) decorated on one half. Please share my excitement with me!
So, I shared a pic of my new curtains in the last post.
They are the curtains that I MADE for our upstairs room. I also bought new bedding, pillows and even made a few pillows to match the curtains (I officially love Jo-Ann's Fabric).
Here are my pillows.
I love the yellow and black. It's not something I would ordinarily decorate with, but I decided to do something different for once.
The curtains...are made out of sheets. Don't be hatin'! They're also hemmed together with hemming tape. Thrifty or lazy? How about both? HA!
And I love them.
I find myself wandering upstairs just to look at them.
I've made 2 sets of curtains this way already, but without the fabric. Plus, they're a lot longer. I'm going to be making some for my bedroom now. I think I'll document it so I can put it on here. It's so stinkin' cheap and easy.
Anyways, I can't really paint up there because I'm not really sure what color to paint. No one really goes up there since we hardly ever have company. Any advice?

You could try a grey tone with a blueish haze to it. I think that would look nice for the wall.. I love the yellow and black : ) And if you wanted to change it up in the future there are a lot of things you could do with a grey tone.
