Day Thirteen- Turkey Triathlon

Today we watched our dear friend, Justin, and my bro-in-law, Jakey compete in the Annual St. George Turkey Triathlon! WOOT!

There was a swim, then the bike and then the run...in lieu of the swim pics showing half-naked torsos (I'm sure they wouldn't mind, but I don't want the wives to kill me), I will just skip to the biking and running part of the Turkey Tri.

Angela and I cheering on Jakey during the swim.

Piper, super sweet as always.

Samantha, looking equally as dashing with her hands in her pockets.

The one picture we got of Justin smiling.

Jakey was always smiling...definitely excited.

Piper, doing her sad model pose, while watching the biking.

Sam, taking a breather from all of the excitement.

Justin starting the run...

...then bringing it home. Way to go, JR!

Jakey, smiling once again...

...and definitely happy to be finishing. Awesome job, Jakey!

And me and my big girls...before the screaming began.

Let's just say that my walk back to the car was less than desirable. At one point, all three were screaming and one of the participants, packing up his car, looked at me with pity and said, "I think what you're doing right now was harder than the triathlon".

To give you a picture, think of me pushing a stroller with a screaming infant, carrying a screaming Sam with one arm, but balancing her on the handle of the stroller, with Piper trailing behind me screaming as well.

I am Super Mom.

Hear me roar.
