Sure, I sometimes let them watch movie after movie so I can be a bum all day.
Sure, I lost track of Piper at the water park today, only to find her following a group of kids toward the ice cream truck.
But this made me feel absolutely, downright despicable:
Yah, that's a sunburn. Her very first one.
I'm usually very good at keeping them lubed up during the day time, especially if we're at the water park. But today, I lost track of the time and forgot to re-apply.
I feel horrible. It's bad enough to where she'll probably peel. And that makes me feel ever worse. Kind of like puking.
So tonight, after their baths, Piper gets a good dose of Aloe Vera. And Sam will have one too, just so she doesn't feel left out.
Yep, I'm the "Bad Mom" award winner today. Not proud, but probably not the last time I'll win it either.

Not bad, but definitely humble to share! We ALL mess up, all kids are dropped or fall on their heads at least once, I think any mom who has more then 1 kid has let them watch movie after movie a few times(hey-when do we get a break?) and so the sun kissed her a little hard today...she will survive!!..and maybe even help remind you to reapply next time! :)
