I love this beanie.
Is it even called a beanie? A snow cap? A beanie with danglies?
Anyways, I love it. My friend Jessica bought for me one year after I had disclosed to her that the thing I wanted most in the world was a beanie with danglies.
I love bandannas, I love cowboy hats...but there is just something about a beanie. Especially with danglies on it.
They're fun, somewhat colorful (or not, depending on your taste) and keep your head warm. Um, that's common sense, but still a reason why I like them.
I didn't get a chance to rock the beanies too much this year because I didn't really get out of the house much. I mean, I have a life, but we didn't go hiking or spend a lot of time outside.
Would it be lame if I just started wearing them around the house?
Well, I know this is kind of a pointless post, but until a few days ago, I thought I had lost this particular piece of headgear and it made me sad...until I found it on the bottom of my sock basket. (Yes, I have a sock basket.) I was so excited. I finally got a beanie cap (you know, the beanie with a bill on the front...would that technically be called a beancap?) and was super excited, but bummed at the same time that I couldn't find my beanie with danglies on it. Now I have both and feel like a stylish SAHM (stay at home mom, for you rooks).
And you know what, even if it is lame to wear a beanie around the house, I think I'm going to anyways.
Just because I can.
