Day 9- Pink Is In
They are officially, other than the girls' clothes and other than Piper's comforter, the first gender specific items we've ever purchased. Seriously.
My glider is green, the nursery theme is a farm, the highchair is blue checkered, the booster seat is blue, the car seat was black and white, the pack 'n play was green...I think you get the picture.
I was so excited. Beyond excited, even. I was THRILLED!
Originally, Piper was to move into a bigger car seat that would transition into a booster. Samantha would get Piper's car seat that she was currently using (a greenish-brown used monstrosity). I saw the pink car seat for Piper and I got a yes from Bryce. Then, I saw the car seat that was just like Piper's old one...only it was pink! It was brand new and it was pink. And because I wanted it so bad...Bryce said yes!
Have I ever told you how much I love my husband?
So now, Piper is in her new car seat and she LOVES it because it has not one, but TWO cup holders. And Sam is now in her first forward-facing car seat and I think she likes it. We have our first road trip of the year coming up on Friday, so we'll see how it goes. At least I can chuck snacks at the both of them now, rather than climbing into the backseat.

Yay! I like having fun carseats. You spend so much time looking at them, after all. Devlin is about to get bumped up to a bigger seat but I'm hoping to keep him in a harness still. It will have cupholders, though, and he is SUPER excited!
