Day 5- It Was That Year...

It was March 13th, 2006- our 2nd anniversary.

It had snowed up at his parent's house in Descanso, CA. Being from AZ, I wasn't really in the snow that often and to have it so close to us was pure excitement. We were going to Disneyland for our anniversary, but decided, on short notice, to go up to his parent's house the night before to hang out in the snow.

This picture was taken the next morning as I enjoyed a cup of coffee out in the snow. (I had not yet been introduced to chai tea yet, just so you know.) We then went sledding down the hill for the next hour before we left for our mini-vacation. It was that year, that anniversary, that we decided to start a family.

Seeing this pic brought back some fun memories of the two of us before we became three. Sometimes I think I miss those days, but when I see my two girls smiling at me, I know that life only got better.
