I am afraid of static electricity.
There. I said it.
I don't like getting shocked. Piper and Sam don't get caught at the end of the crackly, plastic slide at the parks. I don't rub balloons against my hair. I slap doorknobs to get the shock over with. I think it is all because I don't like the unexpected.
When I was 19, I got my belly button pierced. No biggie. But one day, I was jumping on the trampoline at my mom's, jumped off and forgot to slap the metal edge so that I wouldn't get shocked. I leaned against the trampoline for some reason and I got shocked...right on the belly button ring.
I actually felt the electricity course underneath my skin as it traveled along the metal barbell. Totally freaky.
I can admit I'm a dork. I think it adds to my already unique personality.
'You just keep thinking that, Cassandra.'
