Well, it wasn't really a REAL vacation, considering that it was only a few days long and it consisted of no sleep (not the fun kind) and noisy neighbors.
So what did we do?
We went CAMPING! And it actually was a lot of fun!
We camped at Woods Canyon Lake in northern Arizona.
The days were nice, the nights were cool...
what more could you ask for?
Here comes the tent!
Piper was "helping" Daddy put the tent up.
Thar she be! And it was awesome!

The master roaster...check out his hair. I love it!
I just realized that the giant roll of jeans at the bottom
makes me look REALLY short.
Piper did not want to eat the marshmallows (marmo)
when they were toasted, so she would eat them 'raw'.
I caught her nicking them out of the bag later on too.
B strutting back to the campsite.
*Note: Some gorgeous sunset pictures should be inserted here,
however 3/4s of the way to the lookout,
we noticed poop coming out of P's diaper.
Back to the campsite, pronto!

All tuckered out from a fun trip!

So about the snuggling with daddy thing... I wonder the same thing all the time! Why does Amberlyn sit still and hug on daddy but I can't get her to give me one quick kiss? Arg! Those special daddies!
