I have no clue how it happened, but last Monday I popped one of my ribs out. I didn't know what happened, except that it hurt to breathe. Bryce suggested the rib theory, but I wasn't sure. Let's just say that Monday night I got 3 hours of sleep while Samantha slept like an angel. I think that confirmed it for me.
Wednesday night, I mentioned this to my friend Kerra, who is a massage therapist. She offered to take a look and sure enough, one of my bottom ribs on the right side had popped out. Why it hurt on the left side was because your body transfers pain sometimes. Interesting.
She referred me to a chiropractor and I was freakin'. I don't even crack my knuckles, so getting a rib popped back in was not on my to- do list EVER!
Friday morning rolled around and not only did I have a rib popped out, but a vertebrae in my neck was kind of twisted, my lower back was not moving at all...yikes! I was extremely nervous, but Dr. Salter was really nice and gentle...the popping noise scared me more than anything.
Now, I am in no pain and feel much better. Hopefully, I won't have to keep going back to him, but I'm sure glad that I said something to Bryce and Kerra or who knows what would have happened...
