Happy Halloween!

Here in St. George, we don't celebrate holidays on their actual dates if they so happen to fall on a Sunday...like this year. Sigh.

So we celebrated Halloween a day early, but I was going to be stubborn and not post pictures until the proper day, thank you very much.

This year, we recycled costumes because I KNEW I was going to have the baby right around Halloween. Yes, Piper was Cinderella last year, but she loves the dress and I got to put glitter in her hair this time around. Worked out perfectly. Samantha was a Pirate Princess, which is exactly what Piper was when she was Sam's age. It was fun to compare pictures.

So, for your viewing pleasure, here is how we celebrated Halloween in the Daugherty household the day BEFORE Halloween:

Pumpkin Head! Pumpkin Head!
I think Scarlet is a wee bit upset, don't you?

My girls!
Samantha is the troublemaker,
Scarlet is the huge one (hence the pumpkin head)
and Piper is the sly one.
Thank you, Target, for the appropriate headbands in your dollar section.

Cinderella and the Pirate Princess, with matching moles!

Sam's got the "Aaaaargh" going on.

CHEESE

Jack Sparrow's got NUTHIN on me.

Cutest pirate of the Seven Seas!

Look at that pose...she is SO my daughter.

Checking out the trick-or-treaters...so nosy!

Glitter...check.
Sparkly butterfly...check.
Fishtail braid...check (thank you, YouTube).

And can't forget my little one!
