Sue, Piper and I dropped by Sea World Wednesday since La Jolla Shores was packed. Piper had a blast in the kids area, although she didn't like Elmo's Flying Fish too much.
Finally, the ride is over! Glad Mama had a good time...
Me wanna cookie! Guess Piper will do!
Piper was addicted to the purple cylinders in the play area.
Checking out Shamu.
I'm ready to go home Grandma!
Of course, we bought our car on Thursday. That was a long day, but thanks to Sue, Piper didn't have to endure the torture.
Bryce, Piper and I stopped by Javier and Monica's house Friday for dinner and a viewing of "King of Kong", a documentary on the world record holder of Donkey Kong (the arcade version). It was actually really interesting. Piper REALLY liked Javier and Monica a lot, which honestly doesn't happen too often with our friends. She can be very picky, you know.
Saturday morning, Bryce and Piper dropped me off at Jessica's baby shower. It was a lot of fun to see her and some other good friends of mine. She was blessed by so many people; she definitely got a lot of things she needed and some absolutely adorable outfits too. Her baby will definitely be the "best" dressed! (Pun...her last name is Best.)
We also stopped by Ruben and Emily's house to say hi; we hadn't seen them since Breanna's 1st birthday...she'll be 4 next week. Yikes! We also never met their son, little Ruben. What a cutie! It was good to see them again.
AND, we had Jessie (Bryce's cousin) and Jennifer's (very GOOD family friend) combined 30th birthday BBQ. There were a lot of friends and family there; Piper had a good time running around, being totally cute (if I might say so).
Today, we skipped church and hung out at the house since we were out so late and Piper didn't get a good nap yesterday. Bryce and Piper went swimming since it was so muggy out. She LOVED swimming with Daddy.
Bryce, Piper and I also went down to Sea World to meet up with Dad and Suzie. We did a lot of walking around, letting Piper lead the way. She was a very good girl and even called Suzie 'Nana'. I bet Gampy and Nana are going to miss their little "Pippy".
