Hanging Out With the Fam

Tuesday morning, Piper and I went to visit Kara and her boys. They had a lot of fun and looked so cute eating lunch together, while trying to watch t.v.

Friday night, we met up with my cousin Mike and his family at Sea World. The evening worked SO much better for Piper than the day trip did. We had a lot of fun at the Shark Encounter, the Manatee exhibit and the underwater viewing for Shamu. She really liked the places where she could get out and look up close (although Bryce and I agree that she liked looking at the water ripples more than the animals).

Checking out the sea lions.

Watching Shamu.

Piper loves her daddy.

Aw. How cute is this?

Da dum. Da dum. Da dum.

In awe of the sharks.

Saturday morning, I met up with my side of the family that was in town: my dad, Suzie, Mom, Grandma, Courtney, Mia, Nichole and Chelsea. We enjoyed a nice breakfast at Mimi's Cafe in Mission Valley.

Mia can barely see over the table!

Nichole, Chelsea and, um, Courtney.
These are the kind of pictures I always get!

Da girlz.

Afterwards, me and the girls went to Mission Beach to hang out. Piper LOVED the ocean! I only took her in up to her knees, but she loved it nonetheless! She was splashing and laughing. She kept wanting to go back in the water too.

Grandma's lookin' good.

Beach Baby!

More beach babies!

We walked around Belmont Park too. Piper was waving at the horses on the carousel, so I took her on it with Chelsea and Mia. Needless to say, Piper liked looking at the carousel rather than riding on it. She kept saying "All duh, all duh" (all done). Guess she didn't know the horses went up and down!

A brief smile
