Boy! A Week in Review!

Our first week of semi-vacation here in lovely San Diego has been pretty good! Piper has been having a blast hanging out with Sue. We call Piper her shadow because everywhere Grandma goes, Nosy Nettie is sure to follow! She LOVES swimming in the pool and playing with the dogs, Spanky and Darla.

She also helped Daddy try out his new squirt gun...he's just like a kid in a toy store. We're in Big 5 looking for a "floaty suit" for Piper and he's checking out the squirt guns! Anyways...

We went to Sea World on Thursday, but it didn't turn out to be that great of a day. It was really warm, muggy and Piper was C-R-A-N-K-Y, with a HUGE capital C. We do plan on going back a few more times, but maybe more toward the evening when it's cooler (and so we can see the Ultra-Cool Nighttime Shamu Spectacular Extravaganza).

She was NOT happy being pinned by Daddy, but she was tweaking (and I mean TWEAKING) and needed to chill-ax.

We've spent some time with family and friends this week too. I did hang out with girlfriend Crystal and her kids, but I FORGOT to take pictures. Oh well. Next week for sure.

He was so happy to see her. Poor Suzie was slightly sick, so she had to bail early. We'll be seeing her again though tomorrow for the Kraus Family BBQ.

She's due February 17th.

Bryce and I have partaken in a few challenges toward each other. The first was pool and needless to say, I didn't play as well as I would have liked.

On a few side notes, Piper just cut her first incisor, or eye tooth. No wonder she's been so cranky lately! And as for me, I'm 19 weeks along, baby has been kicking me for a week now and I'm just starting to feel the bigger ones on the outside of my tummy! Yay! And...

IT HAS BEGUN!
Cue the theme to Mortal Kombat and off we go! Beijing, China...the 29th Olympiad! If anyone missed the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics last night, man oh man, did you miss the most Spectacular Spectacular of all the openers!
I'm excited to see how the US does!
