AI Update #10/Voted Off

Now we have songs from the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame...lots of good songs to choose from!

TOP 4

David Cook
"Hungry Like The Wolf" by Duran Duran

It was too growly for me; it sounded karaoke. Not bad, but certainly not his best.

"Baba O'Riley" by the Who

I don't think I've ever heard the song before, so I can't compare. It was okay, but he's definitely got a range on him.

David Archuleta
"Stand By Me" by Ben E. King
Ooh, so smooth. Nice high vocals at the end. Seriously, he's going to give David Cook a run for his money.

"Love Me Tender" by Elvis Presley
He's got such good vocals...nice rendition of the song. Loved it.

Jason Castro
"I Shot the Sheriff" by Bob Marley
I actually thought that was a pretty good rendition; I'm not a huge Marley fan, but it was genuine Castro. But not fantastic

"Mr. Tambourine Man" by Bob Dylan
Doh! He forgot a line! It wasn't good. He's my first pick for the Bottom 2 and really this time, he needs to go home.

Syesha Mercado
"Proud Mary" by CCR as performed by Tina Turner
I like Tina's rendition; I don't like performers trying to do the Tina rendition. She was good, but no dancing please!

"A Change is Gonna Come" by Sam Cook
Ooh....I love her range. She's got such a powerful voice! But she's not as popular, so she's my second pick for the Bottom 2.

BOTTOM 2
Jason Castro
Syesha Mercado

And who is crying because they're going home?

20 year-old Jason Castro

Jason, you're so original and fun, but it's time. I think I would buy his album...very coffee-house-like!

And now we get down to the Top 3! Very exciting!!!!
