It was BEATLES NIGHT!

I have to admit I was a little nervous, but all in all, the Top 12 pulled it out of the hat last night. There were some that blew me away and some that were just not good. Take a look at

Syesha Mercado "Got to Get You Into My Life"

It was an interesting arrangement. I think Syesha did okay, but it wasn't fantastic. She may not have done good enough though...still forgettable. She's my pick for the Bottom 3.

Chikezie "She's a Woman"

Chikezie ROCKED the house!!! Oh my goodness, he was awesome! Definitely my favorite of the night!

Ramiele Mulabay "In My Life"

I like this song, but I didn't like Ramiele singing it. It was a really boring arrangement. I predict she'll be in the Bottom 3.

Jason Castro "If I Fell"

This is one of my favorite songs and it's not very easy to sing either. I think Jason did a good job with it; very mellow.

Carly Smithson "Come Together"

Carly has such a BIG voice! Definitely my third favorite of the night. But me no likey her dress.

David Cook "Elenore Rigby"

WHOOOO-EEE! My second favorite of the night did a rocked out version of the song and I loved every second of it. I agree...he may be a dark horse in this competition.

Brooke White "Let It Be"

Although I love her, it wasn't my favorite song of hers, but...it was emotion-filled and heartfelt; Brooke still did a good job. Check the bottom of this post for an AI tidbit.

David Hernandez "I Saw Her Standing There"

I thought it was great even though the judges said it was over the top...but I think that's the real David; definitely over the top. But because of his 'over-the-top-ness', he's my Alternate pick for the night.

Amanda Overmyer "You Can't Do That"

Amanda, once again, will be safe. She's learning to mold the song to her style. I wasn't sure of the song at first, but then MAN...she did it.

Michael Johns "Across the Universe"

I don't think this was the best song for Michael, but he did alright...not great, but good.

Kristy Lee Cook "Eight Days a Week"

HORRIBLE, AWFUL, NO, NO, NO. You cannot take a Beatles song, give it a 'hoe-down' arrangement and expect good things from it. Kristy is going home. I predict the Bottom 3 for her and the end of her stay on AI.

David Archuleta "We Could Work it Out"

My boyfriend didn't pull through this week. It just wasn't good; he forgot the words, wasn't his style...but he's safe all because he really is a good vocalist and he's cute.
