Shoving a TON of Info in YO' FACE

This post will just HAVE to be categorized; too much stuff to process:

#1: AMERICAN IDOL- So the try-outs on tonight's show was here in Sunny San Diego. Yay! I had forgotten there had been try-outs last summer. Anyhow, can I just say that I want to be Australian?? That guy had an A-maZaZing voice! And the 16-year-old!!! Wow! But please, if you're a big FAN of AI...really, no need to show physical evidence. Even Bryce had to comment on that one. Sheesh. So far, I'm not TOTALLY impressed by anyone just yet. I remembered Blake Lewis forever because of his beatboxing...so let's step it up America!

#2: HEATH LEDGER...SO SAD-

I was absolutely shocked when I logged onto MSN this afternoon and saw that Heath Ledger had passed away. I was immediately saddened because I know he has a very young daughter. Very, very sad. My heart goes out to his family. It's sad to see this generation of Hollywood go crazy; you have Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears...Brad Renfro, Heath Ledger...I think that makes it all the more important that we as parents, brothers, sisters, etc. become the role models that our children need, rather than these poor people, who are as imperfect as we are. Their lives are scrutinized, their privacy non-existent. Yes, most choose to live the Hollywood life, but some pay a horrible price for their fame. Okay, 'nuff said. It's still very sad.
