And what a beautiful baby she is!
After 53 hours of labor (yes, I really did say 53 HOURS of labor), Mia came via C-Section. Courtney did such a good job. I would've given up a lot earlier, but she hung in there. Mia Danelle was born Friday, January 18th, 2008, at 12:39 PM. She weighed 9 pounds and 3 ounces. She was 21 and 3/4 inches long. (Courtney's doctor was right in saying she was going to be a big baby.) She scored 9's on her Apgar test. She has a head of spiky black hair, brownish-green eyes, Erik's hairline, browline and eyes, Courtney's cheeks, nose and mouth. Erik flew in Friday morning from Texas (he's in training there for the National Guard). He got in an hour before her C-Section! Yay!

She's a really cute baby and is doing very well! I'll get to see her again at the beginning of February when Piper and I head over to help the new mommy out with her little one!
